Installation Instructions for Timer Type ST-2061

Introduction

Sequence Timer type ST 2061-10, is a 10 channel timer with 10 independent relays for process control. This timer has setting range of 10 ms to 99 hr 59 min in ON Time, OFF Time and Cycle Repetition Time forms.

Provision is made to select single cycle or multi-cycle operation modes. The five-digit display reads channel number and time delays in programmable range. All these rich functions give programming flexibility to the end user in using the timer in desired mode with programmable number of channels.

Refer attached G.A. Drawing while connection the timer in the control circuit.

Operation

if run mode with single cycle mode is selected

At Power ON instance, the sequence begins from last relay operation and the next relay becomes ON for preset ON time. After this ON time is over, this relay becomes OFF and next relay becomes ON. This cycle runs until relay-10 becomes OFF. After relay-10 becomes OFF, the display reads 1 and single cycle is completed.

if run mode with continuous cycle mode is selected

At Power ON instance, the sequence begins from last relay operation and the next relay becomes ON for preset ON time. After this ON time is over, this relay becomes OFF and next relay becomes ON. This cycle runs until relay-10 becomes OFF. After relay-10 becomes OFF, the cycle repetition time repeats the cycle from relay-1 to relay-10 (provided we have selected 10 channels).

Caution-Notes:

  • If parameters are programmed with RUN mode selected, the new values will not be saved. Always program the parameters when PROGRAM mode is selected.

  • If any time value is set 00.00, it reads the minimum value of the selected range.

  • Always keep RUN mode selected to start the process from previous instance.

  • Strictly refer attached G.A. Drawing for installation and connection guide-lines.
